Crashing Through
This is a song I wrote to honor the story of a close friend who wasn't yet a close friend when I wrote the song! His name is Mike May, and you can read all about him in the book "Crashing Through," by Robert Kurson, which is available wherever you buy books. Mike was blinded at 3 years old and underwent groundbreaking surgery in his forties to regain some vision. Along the way he became a world traveler, an entrepeneur, a champion downhill skier, and an outspoken advocate for adaptive technology.
